At Horse Health Center we focus on prevention and maintenance of your horse' s body. We believe that if we take good care of our horses, injuries may be prevented. (but they are horses, so anything can happen).

NANO CELL THERAPY

Where a lot of our therapies are focussed on fixing the problem, with acupunture we also work on
fixing the root cause of a problem and bring balance back in the whole body. I almost always
recommend to do some acupuncture sessions because getting injured is a trauma to the body and it
almost always throws the body off balance. By adressing this while still recovering, you are already a step ahead.
Sometimes a horse is lame or experiencing issues without a clear cause. In these cases, we start
(after of course thorough examination) with acupuncture. It has a way of showing us the real, underlying issue and sometimes it is the only way to get a horse sound again. We still use other
therapies as well but in mystery cases this is definitely a way to help us figure out where the problem is and why.
SOUND THERAPY BLANKET
The Information Medicine frequencies activate the self-healing capacity and internal intelligence in the body. The harmonic frequencies “inform” the body with electromagnetic and sound frequencies. The water in the horses body (molecularly, all beings are 99% water) plays the leading role in this process. The cells in the body recognize the body’s own frequencies and absorb what they need. This can be used to reduce pain and inflammation. On a higher frequency, it helps improve bloodflow
and metabolism. The best thing about this treatment is that the magnetic waves can go all the way
through the bone. There are not a lot of therapies that work on bones because they can’t get that
deep most of the time. This therapy is excellent in case of bone fractures and helps speed up

Especially when we are starting to work the horse again, we prefer the use of UTC scan. A UTC scan
not only shows damages, but it also shows the quality of the tissue and how much it can handle. This
way we can build up the horse in a very precise manner, without overtraining or waiting too long. We
also make sure when rehab is finished, we have healthy and strong tissue.

VITAFLOOR
Vitafloor is a full body vibration system that improves bloodflow througout the whole body. There is
much research done on this form of therapy and the results are very good. When using a whole body
vibration system on horses, it is very important that it is high quality and safe. A lot of tests and
research was done using the Vitafloor (the brand name) so this had proven to be safe and effective.
​Use of whole body vibration stimulates bloodflow and this stimulates healing. Especially with lower
leg injuries where there is not that much bloodflow to begin with, it is a powerful tool for a faster and
better recovery.
AQUATRAINER
An equine aqua trainer is a watertight tank with a treadmill inside, used for horse rehabilitation and training. The buoyancy of the water reduces the load on joints and tendons, while the horse builds muscle strength, coordination, and balance by walking against the water’s resistance. The intensity can be adjusted by changing the water level and treadmill speed, making it suitable for various purposes, from injury recovery to muscle building and improving overall fitness.
